Sunday, March 15, 2015. Hiking the Routeburn Track in New Zealand. Making my way through the mountains on the South Island of New Zealand. Key Summit is located on the South Island near Fiordland and Mount Aspiring National Parks. Some parts of the trail is for experienced hikers only. The surface is all dirt and rock so needless to say wear the proper foot gear. Need to be aware of avalanches when approaching the mountains.
