Pastel Splendor - Naples Pier. This is a 35 minute exposure under a full moon. While experimenting with various timed exposures this final abstract image renders color film as black and white with extreme contrast. The pelicans were fast asleep. An evening storm in the background gave off this colorful array of light to the city dock. The sun slipped through the holes in the clouds to reflect off the water.

Thursday, June 29, 2017. The past couple of days have been uneventful. This is vacation time so that is good. Predicted weather has gone north and south of us as if we are in a protected bubble. It was a little freaky watching the ominous clouds approach and pass in front of and behind the house and blue skies appear overhead. On the other hand this is the first time I can remember being a little chilly. It is the result of a cold front the passed yesterday, dry but windy.
