Wednesday, July 16, 2014. I Wrote My First Crochet Pattern! My very first crochet pattern is for a preemie hooded cape using double crochet and single crochet stitches so it works up pretty fast. I was inspired by a pattern I saw on Mamma That Makes. I really like her pattern but as she said in her post, it does take a bit more time and I am a slow crocheter. Monday, March 7, 2011. Yep, we are having another boy this summer. None of my boys have ever been modest in their ultrasounds. They seem to be proud, even after they are born. I am due July 30th.
